The Borracho July Netherlands/Germany tour

The Gentle Enemies is a 3 piece Australian rock band making their European debut at Hol-land’s ‘Zwarte Cross’ Festival this July. They’ll be following this up with a couple of side shows in the region on a whirlwind trip from ‘Downunder’ to promote the single ‘Borracho’, the first track to come from their debut album due for release in late 2015.

Here's a video of The Gentle Enemies in preparation for Zwarte Cross festival:

Armed with with chops to burn and a vocal range to match - front man guitarist Claude Hay has carved a niche for himself over the past 9 years as a solo blues/rock artist, releasing three independent albums and establishing himself as pretty much the world’s number one one-man-band. His releases have charted on the USA Blues Billboard charts, and he’s appeared on national TV in Holland (VPRO Vrije geluiden) and performed at several major Dutch festivals including Moulin Blues Festival, Ribs and Blues Festival and Kwandendamne Festival. Feeling a strong need to express his love for Queens of the Stone Age, The Raconteurs and Faith No More, Claude Hay founded The Gentle Enemies, joining forces with actual live breathing musicians in 2014 to put together a hard-rocking 3-piece and break the chains of his solo show. Claude Hay has always been driven by the passion to build things himself - he’s build his own house, fitted out his own tour vans, plays completely custom hand-build instruments and electronics, and he writes, records and mixes all his own music in his own studio.
